Roaming
You can use your Lebara Mobile SIM card to make calls when you travel abroad. See our roaming tariffs for a full list of the countries you can roam in and charges for this service.
Tips for roaming with Lebara Mobile:
Voicemail
Make sure you set up your voicemail security code by dialling 121 before you leave the UK
To pick up your voicemail when you are roaming dial +44 7836 121 121 and be ready to enter your security code and follow the instructions to hear your message
Making Calls and texting
When you arrive in most cases, your mobile will automatically search for and register on a network. If not, you will have to select a network manually – you can normally do this under the “phone settings” menu on your phone. Check your user guide if you are not sure.
To call the UK just replace the first 0 of the number you are calling with +44 and dial normally.
To call within the country you’re visiting or to call any other country dial *#123* followed by the number including the country code, followed by #
You can send and receive texts normally as you would at home. Just make sure you put +, the country code followed by the number without the 0. There is no charge to receive a text.
Balance and Top-Up
To check your balance dial *#1345#
It is best to top-up before you leave, as Lebara Mobile UK vouchers are not available outside the UK. However, if you buy a voucher before you leave the UK and want to top-up the voucher outside the UK, then you can simply do that by dialling *#1345*voucher pin followed by #. Once you have sent this prompt, it will show on your screen, if the top-up is successful.
Of course, if you are registered online at My Lebara, you can top-up anytime, from anywhere using your UK credit or debit card over the web.
